 Boy oh boy have we had sickness at the Buck house this week! It has cycled through the kids several times and is finally gone! So, we have had many days like this... all cuddled up!

 

 We finally started getting quotes for some updates we want to make to our home! We moved over a year ago and loved the "bones" of the house but didn't love some of the cosmetics. So, I am super pumped to get some of these projects done! Goodbye...fireplace surround! I will post before and after pictures soon!

Just when I think all is calm at the Buck house...we fall apart:)! So, everyone started a star chart this last week! It has helped me stay on top of it and the kids loved getting stars for good choices. You can download this chart by clicking on the picture above.

 

Center Reflection Journal...

I always struggled with student accountability during center time..this is why I created this center reflection journal packet. Students will daily rate centers and their effort  during center time.   It has been a busy week but it has been good to get back into a routine! Rance went back to Pre-K and my hubby went back to work..but I did finish my Sight Word Bands. Click on the picture above to download this FREEBIE! It includes 17 sight word bands that cover the First 100 Fry Words.

 

Ok...so I am kind of in love with this thing called dairy. I LOVE cheese, creamer, whip cream.. you name it I love it! But, I have had skin problems for many years and now that I am 35 I am beginning to think I am not going to "grow out of it". So, I have been doing some reading and watching Dr. Oz and am beginning to think it has a connection with dairy. So, this week I am going to try to cut as much of this from my diet as I can. I figure it is worth a try to see if it works. Wish me luck because this will not be an easy thing for me. Have any of you tried this? Has it helped??

  

This week I had some fun making some changes to my FB page, blog and TPT store!

 

 We have been stuck inside ALOT this week due to freezing winter weather so I pulled a few things from my Games on the Go: Letter Recognition packet to use with my son. He learned how to play Think-Tac-Toe and is having a ton of fun with it!

Five For Friday Linky Party....{ January 3rd}

Can I just say this was the BEST Christmas ever! All of the kids are old enough now to enjoy it and get SOOO excited about every little thing! The big hit this year was Grandma bought the kids a kitchen set. She snuck it in and wrapped it up in a big blanket with a bow! The kids loved it!

 

A new thing we did this year was get the kiddos PJ's and slippers to wear on Christmas Eve. They were much more excited about the slippers than the PJ's...they had never had ones before!

  

We spent Christmas day with my parents...my brother and his family were sick so it was a bit quieter this year. We made it fun by sledding and building a snowman! We surprised my mom with a bracelet with all of the grandkids pictures on it! It turned out GREAT and was very reasonable...so if you need one in the future let me know and I will send you the gals info! We loved working with her!

 

My husband is a school teacher and a pastor so I have had a lot more freedom while he has been home over break! It has been AMAZING! So, anyway I am working on this fun "Sight Word Bands" FREEBIE that should be in my store this next week! Make sure to check it out!

I have also been making a ton of Valentine's Day packets with my new Melonheadz clipart! I love, love her stuff!!
